I learned how to start a business and how to plan and how to handle the cases in business. I learned about what you need to expect in business. I learned that it is important to put money in the bank. I thank you very much about this business training because I learned a lot.

The B.E.S.T. training is priceless. I love working in a business environment and the things I learnt in this course has prone to be vital, not just for me, but for any individual who desires to use his/her money more wisely and to be a good steward of it. This course reminded me about the importance of recording everything you buy and sell and the importance of keeping receipts. I wish this course could be offered to scholars as I believe it will be a huge benefit in their lives and aid them in becoming independent earlier in their lives and think beyond the short-term ideas of just spending.

Firstly I’d like to say WOW!

In a space of a month I got to experience how it feels like running a business, I got to learn how to skillfully negotiate a good contract, keep records, know when to increase prices, know when to keep them at a  constant price and how to save. When I think of this course I then see how they made it relate to life as a whole especially the “life cards” but overall I should say it was a fun and exciting learning experience. I would now surely advise someone to take it, it will surely benefit them.

I know that in everything that I am doing in my business I must save money and I must read my expenses so that I must know how much I did make and my expense and saving. Now I can save money or put my money in the bank. I know that I use money so I have to count everything I am using in my business.

This course seemed good. Our teacher explained things to us very well and we understood well enough.

I thought the course was extremely well presented. The presenters were enthusiastic and came across as very experienced and knowledgeable. I enjoyed the fact that it was presented in a cross-cultural environment which helped us to see things from each other’s perspective. The manner of presentation –the game- made the learning so easy and so much fun and yet what we learnt was so sound and useful. The practical was amazing for me – and not something I would ever have tried if I had not done the course. I was WAY out of my comfort zone. But it really taught me so much and grew me as a person as well as teaching me business skills.

I learned about the Business Cycle.  There are 3 things that I understood during the training: Business capital, savings & home expenses budgeting. We have to budget and we have to put this into account when planning the customers, price & the place. With marketing I learnt that you should know the manufacturing price and the demand of your customers. The selling place can at home or in the market. But it is best at home when you are starting as you save on rent.In your business you have to persevere, to love your customers and also to fear God.  Also it is important that the business must help all the people. Every day you must keep the records and at the end do the analysis of your business.

Though I am a businessperson, I have learnt and improved on my record keeping. The 4 P’s where very helpful in marketing: products, place, promotion and price. I also realised that some people that we (Business for transformation – B4T) help with loans need this training especially start ups and I wish to be one of the trainers to that I can be able to offer this training.

Oscar –

I have learnt that one have to make a budget for everything, keep personal money and business money separate. In order to run a good business you have to find the right place, advertise if possible, keep records for everything and see whether you are making a profit or not. I have enjoyed the course, it was fun and interesting. I think I have learned a lot and that will help me run a better business. Sometimes the business can’t go according to plan.

For me the course was very educating in a way that people work in their business, or making profit. Knowing how to use your money and making sure that you use your money in a good way.
