I thought the course was extremely well presented. The presenters were enthusiastic and came across as very experienced and knowledgeable. I enjoyed the fact that it was presented in a cross-cultural environment which helped us to see things from each other’s perspective. The manner of presentation –the game- made the learning so easy and so much fun and yet what we learnt was so sound and useful. The practical was amazing for me – and not something I would ever have tried if I had not done the course. I was WAY out of my comfort zone. But it really taught me so much and grew me as a person as well as teaching me business skills.

Lynn –

This training was a great help to me because I started a business before and it failed. So with Epic Solutions I learnt about the risk of business, and about “LifeCards” which taught things that happen in real life. Epic Solutions taught me a lot about planning and record-keeping. I realise that part of why my business failed before was because I was not doing those things. I also learnt that if things don’t work out then try an alternative. Really of you fail to plan then you plan to fail.

·         The practical was very useful in helping to put into action what was learned.

·         There was a clear emphasis on understanding the business cycle as well as keeping records.

I learnt a lot in this Business Training. I did Business before, but I was never doing well. I guess that was because I never made a budget. I am so grateful for what I learned. In a Business it will always go up and down, but I know that I can handle that now, since I know how to save some money. And I saw as well that you don’t need big money to start a business, you can start small and work yourself up.

The workshop was an eye-opener. I certainly learnt a lot on how to manage a business. It is one of the best business trainings that exists, and simply because it is so practical.

I have learned that you don’t have to wait for a lot of money to start a business, even a small money can start. I’ve learned also to be careful of my plans about business, like to put records every time if the money go in and out. I did not know how to calculate money for business, expenses and savings but I do now. I’ve learned to sign a contract always if I make an agreement with someone about business. I also have learned that treating customers nice is the most essential thing in business. You don’t always agree in business.

I learned how to start a business and how to plan and how to handle the cases in business. I learned about what you need to expect in business. I learned that it is important to put money in the bank. I thank you very much about this business training because I learned a lot.

Firstly I’d like to say WOW!

In a space of a month I got to experience how it feels like running a business, I got to learn how to skillfully negotiate a good contract, keep records, know when to increase prices, know when to keep them at a  constant price and how to save. When I think of this course I then see how they made it relate to life as a whole especially the “life cards” but overall I should say it was a fun and exciting learning experience. I would now surely advise someone to take it, it will surely benefit them.

I have benefitted a lot on this course. I have been challenged to start my own business using the small amount I will be having. Business is starting from small then you grow. I also learnt how to manage the business that is keeping the journal (Business, Savings and Expenses). For this course, I learn how to run a business and to save money, even to negotiation to the customer. Negotiate a good deal because when you run a business you have to know good and bad prices. This term is very good because we also know how to plan our business. Before you buy you have to plan first. Then when you finish to plan you start to buy material. Then you start your business. It is what I’m learn.
