Learn MoreBusiness Training
The training that we provide is a simulation based business skills development course that combines theory, workshops, case studies and activities that simulate real market conditions and business scenarios in the training room.
We are using our proprietary Business training course called “EPIC Journey” which has been developed by experts in the fields of business, entrepreneurship, curriculum development, training delivery and practitioners who have spent decades enabling micro businesses to launch and sustain in over 48 countries.
Mentoring
The aim of Economic Community Transformation Groups (ECTGs) is to journey more closely with graduates of the “EPIC Journey” training over a longer time horizon. The vision is that an ECTG will form into a vibrant community that has restored hope, takes ownership of their situation and uses their combined skills, resources and influence to identify and implement projects or initiatives that will result in job creation, economic upliftment, empowerment, financial independence and freedom.
Deployment
In order to increase our reach and impact, we have developed a model and process that enables us to train trainers
We have strict selection criteria and terms for partnership and so we seek to partner with like-minded individuals or organisations who are willing to comply with all aspects of our programme, content and values
Epic Business Academy
Our Business Academy aims to equip entrepreneurs to plan, launch, grow and sustain businesses that will have a transforming impact on their stakeholder community.
It is for anyone who wants to start and run what is defined as a small or medium sized business as well as for graduates of the EPIC Journey training who have proven their ability to sustainably run a micro business and wish to step-up and grow their business…
I have learnt the five steps of business, which are planning, purchasing, adding value selling and analysing. I have also learnt on advertising and that I need to do my business where more people pass and are able to view my products. I have benefited a lot from this training, because I will be able to plan well now, to know what type of customers I need to have and what I should spend and save.

I have benefitted a lot on this course. I have been challenged to start my own business using the small amount I will be having. Business is starting from small then you grow. I also learnt how to manage the business that is keeping the journal (Business, Savings and Expenses). I now know how to account every money I use in the business, my record keeping has been perfected. I am now very good at negotiating. It was a good course. I have learnt a lot. Thanks.

I really enjoyed the training – it taught me and it was very practical. I learnt the things practically and it helped to bring a business perspective to my thinking. Things that I thought were hard and difficult to do unless you had been to a university or business college, I could now learn here at the training. I would suggest that we have a follow up group to meet to enrich our learning where we can share our business experiences and keep ourselves updated. It would also be good to have a platform where we can get assistance to those who are involved in business.

I really enjoyed the training even though it was a bit hard for me to do all the calculation. This training helped a lot on the budgeting part (business, domestic, and saving)

I learned about the Business Cycle. There are 3 things that I understood during the training: Business capital, savings & home expenses budgeting. We have to budget and we have to put this into account when planning the customers, price & the place. With marketing I learnt that you should know the manufacturing price and the demand of your customers. The selling place can at home or in the market. But it is best at home when you are starting as you save on rent.In your business you have to persevere, to love your customers and also to fear God. Also it is important that the business must help all the people. Every day you must keep the records and at the end do the analysis of your business.

I like the training because it is fun and wonderful.
It taught me more things on how to run your business. That you must not keep your money at home, and to be wise in each and everything you do.

The B.E.S.T. training is priceless. I love working in a business environment and the things I learnt in this course has prone to be vital, not just for me, but for any individual who desires to use his/her money more wisely and to be a good steward of it. This course reminded me about the importance of recording everything you buy and sell and the importance of keeping receipts. I wish this course could be offered to scholars as I believe it will be a huge benefit in their lives and aid them in becoming independent earlier in their lives and think beyond the short-term ideas of just spending.

I have learned that you don’t have to wait for a lot of money to start a business, even a small money can start. I’ve learned also to be careful of my plans about business, like to put records every time if the money go in and out. I did not know how to calculate money for business, expenses and savings but I do now. I’ve learned to sign a contract always if I make an agreement with someone about business. I also have learned that treating customers nice is the most essential thing in business. You don’t always agree in business.
