66% of the graduates from our training have been women and many come to be trained because they have been widowed.  Others come because their husbands have abandoned their families or because their husbands spend what they earn on alcohol or gambling leaving their wives to carry the burden of providing a home & education for their children.

We have seen many success stories of ladies who have skills in sewing or cooking or making jewellery take what they can already do and, after going through our training, start a business using that skill.   We generally do not advise our graduates what business to start but rather to take something that they enjoy and can already do and then start a business with that.
