One of the characteristics of Asia is the hard-working entrepreneurial nature of the people living there. One of images that any visitor to the region will remember are all the markets – the day markets, the night markets, the floating markets all filled with all these business owners and entrepreneurs.

So why have we been to Asia to train? Well we have trained different groups which were affected by natural disasters and in one village most of the people had lost their livelihoods.

We have also trained people who were in rehabilitation and this was a part of their training to empower them to become more sustainable.

Asia also has a lot of economic migrants who have left their homeland in search of a better life elsewhere. Some have succeeded but there are many stories on the news of people who get tricked and trapped in a foreign land. For these people running their own business can be a life-line.
